The CVS in Greater Merseyside Network is the consortium of the 6 local infrastructure organisations on Greater Merseyside, usually known as Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS) or Voluntary Action.  The CVS network works with more than 5,000 groups helping them to provide services, regenerate neighbourhoods, increase volunteering and tackle discrimination in partnership with local public bodies.

The networks members include Halton & St Helens Voluntary & Community Action (VCA), Knowsley CVS, Liverpool CVS, Sefton CVS, and Voluntary & Community Action Wirral (VCAW)

The CVS Chief Officers have come together for many years through the network to work collaboratively, deliver services jointly, share expertise and experiences and provide a voice for local infrastructure and the voluntary, community and faith sector organisations across the sub-region.  In addition to the local high quality services each member delivers, the working across GM enables the CVS to be structures for maximum efficiency and to realise services and opportunities across the area.....
